Switch sides at 12 points
2 time-outs per game
Substitutions are allowed only during a side switch at 12 points (max of 1 per game) or any time for an injured player
Players on a team choose a side of the court to play – left or right.
Odd-even serving, i.e., the right-side player serves when the score is even, the left-side player serves when the score is odd
1 completed service per side – the team continues to alternate servers (odd/even) until they make an error, then the opponents get the serve and a point
Freeze scores at 20 for the leading team and 18 for the lagging team
Teams must win the match on a serve, not an error
Players do not switch playing positions with their partners
If players choose to switch playing positions they may use a time-out and let the opponents know of the switch – limit 2 position switches per game.
Play-off seeding will be based on the total team score from all pool play matches
Point spreads matter for seeding!
